WOW! I see that I have really taken a break from all my blogging...
It seems that in the past few years, my creative life has turned to hands-on activities that have made it a little more difficult for me to find time for writing explanations or teachings via blog posts. And keeping up with my Instagram content has sort of squelched my need to write descriptions of what I do....you know, the thousands of words that all my pictures are worth and have supplied over the years have made my regular writing unnecessary. However, without the type (hahaha) of blogging I enjoy...which is: writing as I think things through whilst using all 10 of my digits on a full-sized keyboard, I have missed the peace of mind that I get when I reflect and write concurrently. It's good to be back at that!
Since the beginning of the COVID-19 Pandemic (early 2020), I have been constantly trying to entertain myself (and my hubby) by making things (socks, sock puppets, photos, dolls, bears, paintings, dresses, pants, shirts, cardigans, clothing for grandchildren, etc, etc.) I haven't intended to be self-absorbed, but I certainly have enjoyed this era of my life that has given me time, space, and money to freely create.
Many of those things kept me busy by developing into bigger projects...like sock puppet videos and musical hi-jinx with Pillow Heads (see below) in the gardens of my home in Australia.
Thankfully, since 2024 I have enjoyed actual in-person, in-classroom, sewing lessons...AND, I have returned to my love of theatrics with friends, by having several of them along with my husband join in my silly Youtube videos that I created for no other reason than having something good and fun to do. Yayyyyy!
